Mel Gibson dropped by his talent agency

Mel Gibson has been dropped by his talent agency. A rep for the William Morris Endeavor agency confirmed to the L.A. Times that it is no longer working with the Oscar winner, whose personal life has gone up in flames with tapes of a profane, ethnic-slur-laced rant against his ex-girlfriend leaked to RadarOnline.com. Sources told the Times, though, that the agency's bad feelings go back to Gibson's last profane, ethnic-slur-laced rant, during his 2006 drunk-driving arrest -- but that they kept him out of respect to longtime agent Ed Limato, until Limato's death last week.

COMMENTS
Ginger writes:
Mel Gibson's horrifying statements about his religious beliefs and affirming his father's outlandish belief that the Holocaust did not exist are sufficient reason to boycott him and the pictures in which he appears. His disgusting private life only makes it worse. Anyone who supports his beliefs and conduct should question his/her own standards. The entertainment industry will be better off without Mel Gibson!
