Jennifer Peralta- Ajemian & Robin Carus
J&R Casting

A full day intensive that acts as a “one-stop shop” to understanding what Casting Directors look for in a theatrical, commercial and film audition. Taught by Casting Directors J&R (Jennifer Peralta-Ajemian and Robin Carus), students will receive one on one instruction and the opportunity to sharpen their skills for their next audition.

The first part of the day will be focused on Theatre and Musical Theatre Audition Technique. Learn what you need to have in "your book", the importance of song and scene interpretation, image, and how to make the most of those infamous 5 minutes in the room.

In the second half of the day, students will learn the differences between Commercial and Film techniques and how the casting process of both mediums are similar yet distinctive. In doing so, participants will develop an understanding of who is involved on the creative team and what they are specifically looking for. The entire workshop is $85.

Sunday June 5th 11-6pm

Pearl Studios
500 8th Avenue 4th Floor
Between 35th & 36th Street
