Hey everyone!

As no doubt most of you appreciate, this is one nutty, unpredictable business! There's no way of knowing when you're going to be busy, or when you'll be twiddling your thumbs and wondering where your next million is coming from.. Here's the thing: You have to stay in the game and just roll with it!  It sounds simple, but so much about this business is out of your control that it will just drive you nuts if you over-think it.

Concentrate on what you CAN control. Make sure that your profile is as stuffed full of information about you as possible. Put in your phone number and date of birth (nobody will EVER see it, don't worry), and make sure that all your 'skills' are listed. Upload a resume if you have one, and if you have new pictures, add them!  Make sure that you look at the site every day, and submit (as quickly as possible) on any jobs that look good for you.

THE AGENCY is booking a lot of really great jobs as more and more casting directors realize how well we are able to pinpoint the right kinds of talent for their jobs. Believe me, a lot of them are completely overwhelmed by huge numbers of submissions, and knowing that when they log into their account or open up an e mail from us it's not a time-wasting slog through people that really don't fit the job is a huge plus for them. We submit you, you submit yourselves, then we follow up. We do whatever we can to get our people seen.

Sometimes there are jobs a go-go, other times not so much, but you should always be prepared because things really can change at the drop of a hat. Those days you decide to skip checking in may mean that you miss what for you might have been the perfect opportunity; it's frustrating, but it's the truth!

Good luck .. and stay warm out there!!
