It's about your avatar, AGENCY people

Hey everyone, as we speak to more and more clients and follow up on their castings, we see very clearly that if your avatar picture (the little one top left in your profiles) does not clearly show how you look, then chances are that they will skip past your submission. A larger version of your avatar is what clients see first when they browse submissions or search the site for talent; if it interests them then they will click on it to see your comp card, and from there click to look at your profile.

If you have a horizontal picture, crop or change it to a vertical one if at all possible.
Don't use a picture just because it's a nice image if your face is just a tiny part of it.
Head down, wearing a big hat, hand over your mouth, picture as dark as a witches heart? No. Change it.

Clients are pretty much always in a rush to find what they need; when they go through their light-boxes, they want to be able to spot the looks that are right for their project way before they ever get to the fact that you are expert at needlepoint, have a resume as long as an elephants trunk, or are the funniest human being alive.

We want you all to have the best chance possible of getting work, and whatever you actually look like, pictures are key.

By the way, don't forget that you have a function in your profile that says 'SEND MY PROFILE'.  Click on this, and you can e-mail your profile link out to
whoever you chose (and add a note of course
).

Good luck!!

The Agency team
