Self-conscious about being a few pounds overweight, she’s an uneasy yet bold loner searching for a place and a group of people she connects with and feels a sense of belonging. She is constantly at odds with her Jehovah’s Witness parents and trying to prove how tough she is to the CMC (Crip Mafia Cartel) “gang” girls from the other side of town. She pushes boundaries, makes questionable decisions, aligns herself with people that may not have her best intentions in mind and tragically loses her life because of it.
