KELSEY is super smart, charismatic but a little awkward. Kelsey is an example of what happens when a smart, funny, and passionate teenager ages on the vine of life for several years and starts to wilt from cynicism. She can still be vibrant and even inspiring, at times. But it’s a heavier lift now. She is an excellent tutor. She tries to be tender and careful with her father but is much more direct with the teenage students. She may need to be their cheerleader or sarcastic buddy or sympathetic friend as well as their instructor. And she wears all those hats well. She is less successful when interacting with the various parents she must inevitably deal with. LEAD.
