We’d like to pursue 1 direction — reads with ponderous philosophical wondering. We’re thinking the read is pretty straight, considered, a little awkward (confidently unsure), and not over the top—there’s an amount of humor that’s just a frosting on the read, knowing the words you’re saying are insane but trying to keep it normal.
Specs We’d like to look at some voices that have Americanized foreign accents. We like how different linguistic backgrounds bring a unique pronunciation and cadence to words and sounds. Not sure if it’s Something Scandinavian, Swedish, Dutch, Kenyan, Sri Lankan, Greek,.
AND someone with a hybrid accent
EXAMPLE: Someone Japanese, that learned English in Switzerland, which yields a super interesting pronunciation OR Someone French raised in Spain and moved to Africa.
This is a voice that sounds different, but you can’t quite put your finger on where in the world it’s from.
open to ALL DIFFERENT ACCENTS :
ALSO WANT TO HEAR MIXED ACCENTS, SOMEONE BORN IN ONE PLACE. RAISED IN ONE PLACE – A SORT OF MUTT OF AN ACCENT, INTERESTING MIX OF AN ACCENT**
YOU MUST ADD A NOTE ABOUT YOUR ACCENT IN RELATION TO THE SPEC ABOVE OR YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
